West Point Beach Resort is looking forward to September and the fantastic Festival No6 on the 13th, 14th and 15th!
This beautifully unique festival has people rushing to West Point and Snowdonia for the fabulous event.
The festival is located in Portmeirion and is only half an hour’s drive from West Point on the A487. It is a pleasant trip from Snowdonia’s impressive coast through gorgeous scenery to arrive at the unusual destination of Portmeirion.
This is only the 2nd year of the festival and it is already a hugely popular event.
An array of bands, DJs and ensembles will perform throughout the village in venues including the gardens, the promenade and the town hall.
This festival is unlike any other with its intimate and artistic style among the gorgeous Snowdonia scenery and the sculpted town architecture. This festival explores individual expression and the finer pleasures in life. If you fancy a pop up champagne and oyster bar instead of the usual festival lagers and beers then Festival No6 is the place for you. There will be a banquet in the castle dining room and numerous delicious food stalls serving a variety of sumptuous dishes to enjoy while you watch the spectacular performances.
Acts such as the Manic Street preachers, James Blake, Clinic, Laura Mvula and many more will be performing throughout the weekend. Adult weekend camping tickets are £170 for Friday arrival but if you want affordable luxury accommodation as part of a wider North Wales holiday then stay at West Point Beach Resort to enjoy glorious accommodation on the Snowdonia coast only a short drive from the festival and day tickets for the event are only £65!
The name of the festival is a reference to the Prisoner TV series which was filmed in Portmeirion village in the 60s. Enjoy a trip to this fantastic festival and then explore the winding beaches and cliffs of the Snowdonia coasts and watch the sun set over the sea in a wonderful North Wales holiday park.
