Our holiday parks in North Wales are in close proximity to an eclectic range of great attractions, and this year we are within a decent driving distant from the Gwledd Conwy Feast that will be taking place on Saturday 24th to Sunday 25th October 2015.
The beautiful market town of Conwy will be hosting this fantastic event, ideal for all the foodies out there and anyone who enjoys roaming the streets and challenging their taste buds. The Gwledd Conwy Feast has been timed perfectly with the mussel fishing season, as Conwy is the sole rake-only mussel fishing town left in the entire UK.
Bars throughout the town will be well-stocked with numerous beverages for you to enjoy from real ales and craft beers, to cocktails and even a Champagne bar! During the weekend there will also be the Feast Kitchen Theatre where you’ll be able to catch a number of chef demonstrations. Special guests will include Bryn Williams, The Voice contestant Ragsy and The Great British Bake Off’s Becca-Lynne Perkis.
This year the festival will be celebrating the centenary of Dylan Thomas’ birth, so you can look forward to an evening spectacle of fire and light. Fireworks, fire juggling and dancing will also be reflected in the River Conwy, which is going to be based on Thomas’ poem, ‘Do Not Go Gentle Into That Good Night’.
This festival is one you don’t want to miss and we highly recommend you start planning your trip today! Tickets cost just £8 for the Saturday and £6 for the Sunday. Children under the age of 16 go free, but must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
Better yet, get the whole family and your group of friends together and take advantage of the Group Booking offer; for every 10 tickets purchased, one free ticket is provided. Book your stay on our holiday parks in North Wales today by viewing our Touring Tariffs.
