January 2017 Events in North Wales

Christmas has been and gone, and many of us can be left feeling like there’s not that much to do. Fortunately, there is an eclectic variety of events and fun days out taking place close to holiday parks in Snowdonia to keep us entertained in the chilly period before the first signs of spring begin to appear.

The Big Garden Birdwatch

January 21 – 22, RSPB Conwy Nature Reserve

Events in 2017The annual RSPB bird and wildlife count is coming up, and they’re looking for people to help them with it. Pop along to the Conwy RSPB nature reserve between 11am and 3pm on January the 21st and 22nd to take part in this important count.

You’ll also find out how to attract birds to your own garden, as well as learn what to feed them and how to identify each species. Children are very welcome too, with activities including making your own bird masks, finger puppets and bird food taking part on the day.

You don’t need to book for this event, and there are no entry costs either.

Wear your best neon rave gear and keep fit by dancing to dancehall hits at 10am on January the 27th.
