Josie Russell is exhibiting her textile landscapes artwork, which have captured the mountains of Snowdonia in a very creative and exceptionally beautiful way. The exhibition is on from 6th October to 7th November and can be seen at Plas Newydd Country House and Gardens, Isle of Anglesey, just a few miles north of the West Point Beach Holiday Park in Snowdonia.
Josie Russells work incorporates the ‘recycling’ of other peoples cast offs, into unique and striking pieces of art, which allows old materials that may be considered to have no use, to be used again in a practical and creative way. These materials will quite often end up in landfill sites, which is not necessary when people like Josie find a fantastic use for them.
The inspiration and main basis for the work undertaken by Josie are the exceptionally beautiful hills and countryside of North Wales, where the picturesque and interesting landscape has given Josie ideas and something to base her work on, helping her to produce top quality, striking pieces of artwork.

Visitors to the area are often advised to visit places such as these as they are truly unique and are located in areas of other exceptional beauty of range of activities, making for a great day or afternoon out in North Wales.
