We’re now even closer to the start of the new season, and are looking forward to our holiday homes in Snowdonia becoming populated once again with residents for another brilliant season.
Yesterday marked the first day of the annual Caravan, Camping & Motorhome Show in the NEC, Birmingham. This six day event is host to a number of showcases, attractions and workshops for those interested in all things camping, caravanning and holiday homing.
It’s the UK’s biggest showcase of motor homes, campervans and caravans, and is a fantastic opportunity to see what the latest models of holiday homes and campers have to offer. There will be holiday homes onsite to look through and allow you to get a feel for the space and facilities within.
Beginning on the 21st February until Sunday the 26th February, visitors will have the chance to get inspired from guest talks from famous faces, purchase handy accessories for their holiday home or caravan as well as take part in unique workshops.
Children go free to the event, and there’s even a trampoline zone to keep them entertained whilst you browse the holiday home showcases and try out some of the workshops – which include bushcraft, towing and motor home tuition sessions for new or prospective owners.
Bring your driving license along to take part in the towing activity, which is an invaluable experience for those looking to purchase a motor home but do not have the experience in towing one along on their car.
If you’re a dog lover, you’ll enjoy watching the performances in the dog agility arena which will be taking place every day between 12pm – 4pm. You’ll see a showcase of some of the best four-legged talent in the UK, including some VIP Crufts winners.
If you’re planning on travelling in a motor home or taking your dog with you to your static holiday home, the Canine Travel Clinic will also be there to help with any queries or reservations you may have about taking your dog on holiday with you. This drop-in session will be taking place between 10:45 and 11:15 each day.
