The Beacon Climbing Centre

Ok, so this is indoors, but this climbing centre is very impressive. Providing tutorial sessions for beginner climbers and giving more experienced ones their free run of the place. The place is brand new and with carefully designed walls there are a variation of different climbs, from simple crawls up the walls for beginners to intimidating overhangs for the person who needs a challenge. This fantastic centre is definitely worth a few visits before trying to master the great crags of Snowdonia!

Snowdon is the tallest mountain in Wales and England, and the whole region of snowdonia is named after it, the mountain is famous all over the world with hundreds of people making the ascent every day.
