One of the undisputedly biggest endurance events in the north of Wales and one which promises to challenge even the most hardened of cyclists, the Etape Eryi for June is a superb event for anyone to attempt when you stay at West Point.
With high praise from the coach behind Team GB’s overwhelming success at London 2012, this event held in Caernarfon is one which is already building quite the buzz. It’s so popular in fact that space are limited so as to make things as competitive as possible. No time to waste then if you want to take part!
After a highly successful 2013, Always Aim High are aiming to keep building on their reputation as one of the go to guys for the best endurance events around. The group continue to deliver high-octane occasions for all, whether you’re participating or not so watch out for some of the other events the company has coming up over the course of 2014.
If you do manage to get yourself on the starting grid, make the most of your affordable entrant fee with chip timing, goody bags and refreshments along the course to keep you going. The drink will definitely come in handy as you’ll be tested on the hills of the region to your utmost.
If you’re cheering on a loved one or just want to watch the event from the sidelines then there are plenty of ways to enjoy your day. The organisers have really embraced the idea of a whole day of fun for locals by providing live music and amazing demonstrations from the geniuses over at MTB. Kids will also be afforded their own special kind of entertainment throughout the day too.
Whatever the length and difficulty you choose for your trail, be sure to make your way to the Etape Eryi at Caernarfon Castle on the 15th of June.
