Christmas is soon approaching, and we hope all of our holiday park guests are well on their way to finishing their shopping and planning their annual Christmas Day feast. December is a busy month for many of us, and we’re busy preparing our holiday homes near Snowdonia for another fantastic season in 2017.

If you find some free time, why not take a crisp winter walk around some of the walking paths in Snowdonia? There are still plenty of fantastic sights to see during the winter, so grab your scarf and gloves and enjoy the natural beauty of Snowdonia. Here are three walks around Snowdonia that can each be taken at a leisurely pace.

Lôn Las Menai

Holiday Homes Near SnowdoniaThis 4.5 mile path runs through the historic town of Caernarfon, you’ll experience wonderful views of the Isle of Anglesey as you follow the tarmaced path alongside the Menai Straits. You’ll also pass through Y Felinheli, a small village set on the banks of the Menai Straits. Once you’ve reached the village, you can treat yourself to a warm drink in one of the many cafes that can be found here.

This trail runs alongside a disused railway path from Caernarfon all the way to Bryncir. There are plenty of facilities on the way, so you won’t be left gasping for a hot drink! You’ll have fantastic views of the Llŷn Peninsula and Anglesey to the west.

Mawddach Trail

You’ll cross a large wooden railway bridge across the Mawddach Estuary, and also be rewarded with some really beautiful coastal views on this trail.
